1. About BorrowBay
- BorrowBay is a community-driven platform that lets people lend and borrow items directly from one another. BorrowBay does not own, inspect, guarantee, or insure any items listed on the platform.
2. User Roles & Responsibilities
For Owners:
List only items you personally own.
Items must be clean, safe, legal, and as described in your listing.
Be truthful with descriptions, provide clear photos, and set fair terms for usage and return.
Make yourself available for communication and handover logistics.
Report incidents or issues immediately.
For Borrowers:
Treat every item with care and respect, as if it were your own.
Use items only as intended and follow any specific instructions set by the owner.
Return items in the same condition, and on the date/time agreed.
Immediately report any loss, damage, or malfunction to the owner.
3. What BorrowBay Does & Does Not Do
We connect users; we do not own, inspect, or insure any items.
We do not act as a mediator or arbitrator for disputes, nor do we guarantee item quality or safety.
BorrowBay is not liable for injuries, accidents, damages, losses, theft, misuse, or fraud resulting from any transaction or use of the platform.
4. Examples of Possible Casualties & What Happens
BorrowBay accepts no liability for any damages, losses, or casualties, including but not limited to:

5. Account Use & Security
Provide honest and accurate information when creating an account.
Keep account credentials confidential.
Report suspicious accounts or activities to BorrowBay support immediately.
6. Prohibited Activities
No illegal, unsafe, or prohibited items.
No fake listings, deceptive profiles, harassment, hacking, or abusive language.
No sharing of sensitive personal data without consent.
Spamming, phishing, or any fraudulent activity will lead to permanent suspension.
7. Privacy Commitment
Your data is only used to operate the platform and connect you with others.
We do not sell or share personal data except as required by law or to operate the service.

8. Platform Changes
